Days at Camp are usually warm with cool nights.  Rain showers are common in the mountains.  Sandals/Flip-flops are not recommended for daily wear because of the rocky terrain and outdoor activities.  Please label all articles with both first and last name, and phone number if possible.  Camp is not responsible for lost or broken items.  Following is a check list to help you pack:

  • Waterbottle 
  • Sleeping bag
  • Pillow
  • Bible
  • Pencil
  • Sweatshirt or jacket
  • Hat
  • Walking shoes
  • Socks
  • Underclothes
  • Jeans
  • Casual shirts
  • Modest shorts
  • Swim suit (modest)
  • Towel & washcloth
  • Sunscreen
  • Flashlight
  • Sun glasses
  • Personal items (toothbrush, soap, shampoo, chapstick, etc.)
  • Bag for dirty clothes
  • You may want to include a book or group game (i.e. cards), for rest time or bad weather.

What NOT to Bring to Calvin Camp:

  • Electronic games
  • Money
  • MP3 players or iPods
  • Skateboards
  • Knives
  • Skates
  • Cell phones
  • Water guns

Alcohol, cigarettes, tobacco, and other drugs are prohibited for all campers and staff. Failure to comply with this policy will result in immediate dismissal from camp.
